STAVANGER, NORWAY

Stavanger – the first Norwegian city we visited. Like the people in the Netherlands, riding bikes, walking and hiking were national pastimes. As we toured we learned so much about the people and their desire for a healthy life style. I sure there are overweight, smokers in Stavanger but I didn’t see them. We felt that this was such a beautiful city with very friendly people. It's hard to say inspired when there every thing on the cruise ship is a food event.

BACK FROM THE NORTH

We loved our trip. That being said no one told me we would have to worry about 3 hurricanes in the frigid north Atlantic.

This is Greenland. The waters were so clear they showed every reflection.
