IT'S CHRISTMAS TIME

Christmas is the time for friends getting together. Last night we had a spontaneous get together. Kent and I went to a special Saturday night church meeting. We were concerned that the meeting wouldn’t take place because of the snow. After the meeting we decided we were going to Pueblo for dinner. Pueblo is a little Mexican restaurant that we have been going to since the 1970’s when it opened. We know the owner and everyone who works there and it is our favorite place to eat. Word spread of our destination and 30 minutes later our friends started arriving at the restaurant. The final count was 25 people. What fun we had, eating good food and visiting with friends.

When we got to Pueblo the restaurant was empty. The owner said they had a large group call ahead for reservations but because of the snow didn’t show up. So much food had been prepped so they were thrilled with our arrival. It was a win win night for everyone. And best of all the snow didn’t come until we were safely home.
